China has yet again launched a campaign against pornographic and vulgar content sites so that Chinese citizens are given access to nice and clean internet.

In total, it has named some 19 sites spreading offensive content including some large internet firms such as Google and Baidu both being search engines. All sites have been warned that if they don't stop spreading pornography then they could be shutdown.

The aim of China’s Ministry of Public Security and six other government agencies is to destroy these sites which are deemed inappropriate for their content. According to Financial Times says, the move comes as China's political leadership faces a growing number of challenges to its authority, many of which have been organized via the internet.
