Google today launched SketchUp 7 and SketchUp Pro 7, the newest versions of their popular 3D modeling software for Windows and Mac Operating Systems. Google SketchUp 7 is available both as a free software and a pro-version with some additional features. The difference between the free version and pro-version can be found here. Using this software you can use to build 3D models of anything.

There are lots of new stuff as well as improvements in this version.

Some of the improvements are

1) Modeling in SketchUp is more intuitive now.
2) The inferencing system is clearer and more consistent than ever.
3) An Instructor panel helps you with more information in case you need help.

Some of the new stuffs that were added in this version are

1) A new class of "smart" objects called Dynamic Components has been created, which are simpler to work with for new modelers.
2) This version is integrated with the Google 3D warehouse store so it’s much easier for you to drag objects in the space that you are trying to model.
