A new bug has been reported G1 Mobile Phone which causes the phone to restart if the word "reboot" is typed after starting up the phone.

The phone interprets any text entered just after switching the phone on as a command. This bug was discovered when an owner of the phone typed the word "reboot" after switching on the phone.

The phone, which uses the Google-developed Android operating system, is sold by T-Mobile in the UK under the name "G1".

Google has fixed the problem in an update to the phone software that will be automatically installed on user's phones.

The user's in US has already received the update and it will be soon available in UK.
