Bad news for all Interner Explorer users. Microsoft has announced that it will be launching Internet Explorer 8 by the mid of 2009 rather than this year.
Microsoft had originally planned to launch the finished edition of IE 8 before the end of the current year. But now they will launching a release candidate(RC) for Internet Explorer 8(IE8) during the first quarter of 2009 and then will release the final version. Currently IE8 Beta 2 is in public which was released late August.
Microsoft representative Dean Hachamovitch said in a blog post that “We want the technical community of people and organizations interested in Web browsers to take this update as a strong signal that IE8 is effectively complete and done.”
