TooManyTabs is a new experimental Firefox extension that lets you store over 50 extra tabs in a single row so that you can quick access them later on. That may not be exciting enough because it will be hard to navigate to find the right tab when there are too many tabs but the great thing about this extension is that it frees up your memory by making them appear as idle.

The tabs can be added to TooManyTabs row by clicking a yellow arrow that replaces the favicon in an active tab and it can be opened up by clicking the same tab in the TooManyTabs row. The tab added to the TooManyTabs row will be removed from the memory.

TooManyTabs
TooManyTabs can restore up to 20 recently closed tabs, helps you specify custom colors for easy identification of your favorite tabs and also lets you specify favorite sites for quick opening later on.

Since, TooManyTabs is still in experimental stage, you need to register with Mozilla to install it. The current version of TooManyTabs is available for Windows, Mac and Linux systems.
